Project Description: PAI was selected Architect for the renovation and additions to this aging detached facility that was currently being used as Assisted Living with small 12-bed Dementia and Alzheimer neighborhood. This facility is part of adjacent 260 unit Assisted Living facility located on the outskirts of downtown Tucson. The project envisioned renovating the entire 2-story building and converting it into a 38-bed Dementia and Alzheimer neighborhood. PAI worked with Atria Management on producing Schematic and Design Development documents per Atria Standards leading to the completion of Construction Documents. Atria selected to put the project on hold due to changing market conditions in Tucson area.

Project Description: PAI was selected Architect for the renovation and additions to this vintage 1980s Independent and Assisted Living facility owned and operated by Atria Senior Living and located in the picturesque tree lined community of Mission Viejo. PAI worked with Atria Management on producing Schematic and Design Development documents per Atria Standards leading to the completion of Construction Documents and the submittal to governing agencies. The project was bid and a General Contractor has been selected to begin the $4.6 M renovation beginning June, 2014 while maintaining occupancy within the facility. The multi-phase construction project is projected to take 14 months to complete which will include the creation of a new 32-bed Dementia and Alzheimer neighborhood on a portion of the second floor of the facility.
